Appletree cottage is a charming thatched, Grade II listed, 17th century country cottage set in peaceful secluded cottage gardens with stunning views over the countryside. Located in a tiny Hamlet in Higher Brimley just inside Dartmoor's National Park, it is in close proximity to Haytor, one of the highest points on Dartmoor, and the open moor; ideal for walkers or for people just wanting to relax.
The bustling town of Bovey Tracey, with it's Designer's Guild, shops, pubs and restaurants is a mile and a half away. Appletree Cottage offers tastefully, furnished and decorated self catering holiday accommodation.
This thatched cottage offers two double bedrooms, two sitting rooms, pantry, large, fully fitted dining kitchen, separate w.c. and bathroom with shower. It has night storage heating and a wood burning stove in the main sitting room. There is also a thatched summer house in the garden and a private car parking area. The local area offers opportunity for many leisure activities including horse riding , golf course at nearby Stover Park and Becky Falls on Dartmoor.
Outside: Thatched summer house; areas laid to lawn surrounded by deep flower borders, mature trees, shrubs and bordered all round by hedges which provide privacy; garden swing and a number of garden benches. Rotary clothes line in patio area; further patio area to rear of cottage with garden table & four chairs; small car park - will accommodate 2 small cars.
